Admission to Waterloo

If you are interested in studying at Waterloo, you should first review the admission requirements to make sure your background qualifies you for consideration. The admission requirements apply to all applicants who wish to pursue degree studies on a full-time or part-time basis, including online programs.

All applicants will be considered for admission to Waterloo unless St. Jerome's University or Renison College is specified.

Applicants Residing Outside of Canada

All deadlines including those for application, class selection, assignments, and examinations must be met.

Do you need additional background for university credits in science or math or to upgrade your high school marks? Then you may want to learn more about Waterloo's non-credit, pre-university courses in Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus.

These refresher courses cover the upper-level secondary school materials considered essential for their related first-year university courses.
